I am Gabor (Gabriel) Pihaj, a Software Engineer with 15+ years experience.

My weapon of choice for tackling challenges in complex domains is Statically Typed Functional Programming, this mostly means Scala and the Typelevel stack (cats, cats-effect, etc…).

When I don’t write Scala, I am experimenting with Rust / Rust-wasm or trying to further improve development environments and developer experience using Nix.
